The major improvement noted in this firmware update is a boost in overall system performance. There were earlier rumors that AGESA 1.2.0.2 would enable a 105-watt power mode for Ryzen 5 9600X and Ryzen 7 9700X processors, both of which are officially rated at 65W TDP. However, this feature was already introduced in ASUS motherboards running UEFI firmware based on the earlier AGESA 1.2.0.1 version.
