Honor announced that it would release Honor 9X on July 23 in China. Honor will also release Honor Band 5 and Honor MagicBook Pro 5 on 23 July. Keep in mind there will also be a Pro version of Honor 9X.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to see MagicBook in India, but we can expect the Honor 9X to come in India. The 9X Pro is unlikely to come in India, but who know 9X pro might enter Indian market to fight with the K20 series in India.
Honor 9X and 9X Pro
Meanwhile, TENAA pages for both the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro are now live. This gives us a confirmation for several key specifications of both the devices.
The Honor 9X (HLK-TL00) will measure 163.1 mm × 77.2mm × 8.8mm and weighs 206g. RAM variants include options for 4GB, 6GB and 8GB, while storage options include 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
Honor 9X Pro (HLK-AL10), the only difference includes RAM variants include options for 6GB and 8GB and internal storage options of 128GB and 256GB.
Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro will carry the Kirin 810 chipset, 3,900 mAh battery, and 6.39″ TFT LCD with FHD+ resolution. Both front cameras will have 24MP resolution with a pop-up system.

Also, the Honor 9X will only have two rear cameras 48MP (Primary) + 2MP (Depth Sensor), while the Honor 9X Pro has three rear cameras 48MP (Primary) + 8MP (Ulta-Wide) + 2MP (Depth Sensor). Both the devices will launch with Android 9 Pie, with EMUI 9 on top.
The Honor 9X and 9X Pro will come with a 3,900 mAh battery with storage expansion up to 512GB.
HiSilicon Kirin 810
The Kirin 810 will also debut in India with the Honor 9X series in India, the Kirin 810 has already defeated Snapdragon 730, 710 and 855 in (AI Benchmark Test).
With the amazing performance the HiSilicon Kirin 810 is definately the game changer in the market and with Aggressive pricing, the Honor 9X will give tough competition to RealmeX, Redmi K20 and Oppo K3. But one thing is for sure that a lot depends on the pricing at which the smartphone will come in India.
