Kirin 810 is officially Huawei second 7nm SOC. The Kirin 810 uses a 7nm process, which is 20% more energy efficient and 50% more transistor density than the 8nm process.
When tested using Antutu, Kirin 810 which will be used in the Nova 5, Kirin 810 was able to score 237,000. This figure is far above the average results of devices that use Snapdragon 730, which is 210,000.

The examiners also compared it to the Kirin 710 which was its predecessor. Apparently, the difference was very drastic, reaching 70%. The test results of Kirin 710 are stuck at 140,000.
When testing graphics, the Kirin 810 again outperformed the Snapdragon 730, the difference is 25%. While with Kirin 710, the difference is 3 times. It seems that the value achieved is quite impressive as a mid-range chipset.
For information, the Kirin 810 SoC accommodates octa-core CPUs and GPU Mali G52 MP6. The CPU consists of two ARM Cortex A76 high-performance cores with a clock speed of 2.27 GHz and six ARM Cortex A55 1.88 GHz cores.
The main weapon of the Kirin 810 is DaVinci NPU for the task of Artificial Intelligence or AI which reportedly defeats the capabilities of higher-class processors than competitors, namely Snapdragon 855 and MediaTek Helio P90
