Moto G6 lineup set to debut in Brazil on 19 April

LENOVO owned Motorola has all-but-confirmed that it plans to off its Moto G6 line-up later this month.

An invitation, summons press to a launch event in San Paulo, Brazil on 19 April.

It’s been over a year since the Moto G5 family was released, so it’s time for the successors to make an appearance.
The latest line-up marks the first set of smartphones from Lenovo-owned Motorola in 2018. Although the company has not mentioned the name of the device on the media invite, it is quite evident that it will be none other than the Moto G6 family, precisely, the Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and the Moto G6 Play.

Moto G6 Plus 

The Moto G6 Plus is said to feature a 5.93-inch FHD+ panel and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Moto G6 Plus packs in better hardware with a Snapdragon 630 SoC clocked at 2.2 GHz, 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of storage.

The Moto G6 Plus will also sport a fingerprint sensor on the front panel that will double up for navigation. While in the imaging segment, it will sport 12MP+5MP dual camera setup at the rear, along with a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies. The phone will bear 3200mAh battery with turbo-charging (Turbo Power).

The phone is tipped to come in Deep Indigo, Nimbus, and Dark Lake colour variants.

Concerning pricing, the Moto G6 Plus could be priced at $249.99 (roughly ₹16,264).

Moto G6 

The Moto G6, meanwhile, is set to offer a 5.7-inch FHD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Moto G6 Plus packs in better hardware with a Snapdragon 450 SoC clocked at 1.4 GHz, 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of storage.

The Moto G6 Plus will also sport a fingerprint sensor on the front panel that will double up for navigation. The phone will bear 3200mAh battery with turbo-charging (Turbo Power). While in the imaging segment, it will sport 12MP+5MP dual camera setup at the rear, along with a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.  It will boast similar software and added features as on the Moto G6 such as Moto Key.

The phone is tipped to come in Deep Indigo, Nimbus, and Dark Lake colour variants.

As for the pricing, Motorola may price the Moto G6 at $199.99 (roughly ₹13,011).

Moto G6 Play

The Moto G6 Play will round out Motorola’s budget series, with the phone offered as the base variant. The phone is rumoured to come with a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440×720) panel and 16:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, Moto G6 play packs a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430, paired with 2/3GB of RAM and 16/32GB of storage.

Moto G6 Play will bear a single 13-megapixel rear camera sensor and 5-megapixel front camera with certain software tweaks and a massive 4000mAh battery, better than the Moto G6 and the Moto G6 Plus.

It may launch in Dark Charcoal, Gold, and Deep Blue colour variants.

Concerning pricing, the Moto G6 Plus could be priced at $129.99 (roughly ₹ 8444.14).
