Lenovo-owned Motorola on Thursday announced the Moto G6 and Moto E5 series at an event in Brazil. The new Motorola phones come with a focus on “design, display and power,” says the company. Moto G6 comes in three variants as expected: Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play. The new models are designed to expand the brand’s presence in the mid-range market segment.

Motorola Moto G6 features a 5.7-inch full HD+ (2160×1080 pixel) IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 424ppi pixel density. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 processor coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM.
It comes with 32GB of built-in storage and supports expandable storage via a microSD card. It comes 12 MP & 5 MP dual rear cameras, (f/1.8) .On the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera with flash . The device has as a Fingerprint reader and the device can be unlocked with face unlock option with Moto key.
Key features of the phone include Dolby Audio, 3,000mAh battery and connectivity options such as 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, USB Type-C, Bluetooth v4.2 and turbo power charger.
The device is available in four colour option Deep Indigo, Blush, Silver and Black.
Moto G6 has been launched at a price of $249 which is ₹ 16,000.

Motorola Moto G6 Play also features 5.7-inch (720×1440 pixels) Max Vision IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Running on Android 8.0 Oreo, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 427 processor and 600 MHz Aderno 308 GPU coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM. Moto G6 Play comes with 32GB of internal storage and supports expandable storage up to 128GB via a microSD card.
In the camera department, it has a 13 MP with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) (f2.0) rear shooter and a 5-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies with flash. Powered by a 4,000mAh battery, the smartphone comes with 10W Rapid Charger and connectivity options such as 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth v4.2. The Moto logo in the back can be used a fingerprint sensor.
The device is available in two colour option Deep Indigo and Flash grey.

Motorola Moto G6 Plus has a 5.93-inch 18:9 display with full HD+ resolution. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 processor with a 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU and 700 MHz Adreno 508 GPU and 4GB/6GB of RAM, Moto G6 Plus runs on Android Oreo out-of-the-box, and is likely to be upgraded to future Android P. It comes with 64GB of storage, expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. The device has as a Fingerprint reader and the device can be unlocked with face unlock option with Moto key.
For photography, Moto G6 Plus has two cameras on the back including 12 MP & 5 MP dual rear cameras featuring Dual Autofocus Pixel technology (f1.7). On the front it has, an 8-megapixel camera with flash. Camera feature includes Up to 4K Ultra HD video capture, Time-lapse video and Slow motion video.
Other key features of the phone include Dolby Audio, 3,200mAh battery and connectivity options such as Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC and 4G LTE among others.
The device is available in two colour option Deep Indigo and Nimbus. Moto G6 Plus has launched with a price tag of $370 which is approximately ₹ 25,000.
