Sony India announced a new line-up of in-car media receivers, XAV Extra Bass series to enhance your driving experience in a way that makes for a safer and smarter on-road experience. The five new audio receiver models are XAV-AX8000, XAV-AX7000, XAV-AX5500, XAV-3500 and XAV-1500 with Smartphone Mirroring by WebLinkTM1 Cast.
XAV-AX8000
Looking for directions on maps or changing your music will no longer be a distraction from the road with the XAV-AX8000. Safety and innovative design are at the heart of Sony’s interests, in addition to the perfect convergence of lighter touch operation and improved visibility, an essential feature when on the road. The 8.95-inch anti-glare display hovers seamlessly over the dashboard and works in a single-DIN space. The sturdy mount of the screen can be adjusted in three directions to allow for flexible installation in a wide variety of vehicles.
The sleek design of XAV-AX8000 is designed ergonomically with aluminium key terminal, giving instant access to the basic operation that includes voice control, source selections and sound adjustments while minimizing distractions. The customizable wallpaper allows one to change its wallpaper to the preset colour choices or user’s favourite JPEG image saved in a USB device (user’s favourite available with firmware update). Its quick wake-up feature is ready to hit the road soon after ignition is turned on.

XAV-AX7000
The XAV-AX7000 features the latest in smartphone connectivity and high-power sound. Smartphone connectivity makes it easy and convenient to control your music on the go while the 100W built-in, the class-D amplifier will breathe new life and emotion into every track. The XAV-AX7000 receiver features a 6.95-inch bezel-less, flush surface display with an anti-glare capacitive touchscreen that matches modern car interiors, and its sleek aluminium key terminal has a dedicated voice button and sealed structure.
XAV-1500
The XAV-1500 with 6.2” anti-glare touchscreen display with lighter touch operation and improved visibility is designed to revolutionise your driving experience. With a single-Din rear chassis, the XAV-1500 is a space-saving installation for the in-car audio experience. It lets you mirror your smartphone screen on the XAV-1500 with WebLink™1 Cast and connect through Bluetooth for hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming.
XAV-3500
The new XAV-3500 provides a superior entertainment experience while on the go with features including WebLinkTM Cast which offers smartphone connectivity and easy control for everyday driving. This in-car receiver offers easy accessibility, revolutionary design and unique audio experience with limited distractions, allowing you to focus on the road and nothing else. This 6.95-inch anti-glare touchscreen display with touchscreen display comes with WebLink Cast for a safer ride, the ergonomically designed key terminal to give instant access to the basic operation such as source selections and sound adjustments while minimizing distractions and a rear-view camera with adjustable parking guidelines.
