Today the Poco F1 has been presented in India, the first device of the new company which focuses on a specific section: performance, power, speed. Next week, the manufacturer will hold separate presentations of the novelties in Paris, Jakarta and Hong Kong, while Xiaomi said, that in the end will bring Poco F1 to the markets of 50 countries.
Poco F1 features a 6.18-inch frameless IPS-display with a resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels (Full HD +), the ratio of 18.7: 9 and a characteristic bang at the top. In this cut-out placed a talking speaker, a proximity sensor, a 20-megapixel camera and an infrared camera with backlighting, which allows the owner to recognize the face in just 0.4 seconds.
At the same time, you can also find a fingerprint scanner on the back of your smartphone. It is interesting that the manufacturer did not make the back panel glass, like most other flagship smartphones, but used reinforced polycarbonate, offering a number of branded cases and linings for personification. Xiaomi Poco F1 will be available in Graphite Black, Steel Blue and Rosso Red colours and a special version of Armored Edition with a back panel of Kevlar.
As we mentioned, the smartphone received a powerful 8-core processor Snapdragon 845 and 6 or 8 GB of RAM LPDDR4X, which allowed him to score 291,302 points in the benchmark AnTuTu. At the same time, developers were especially concerned about cooling by offering the LiquidCool system with a copper radiator which significantly improved the heat removal from the processor. The capacity of the built-in memory storage depending on the version is 64, 128 or 256 GB (UFS 2.1) while the owner will also be able to additionally use a microSD memory card.
The 4000 mAh battery supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology and allows you to get 8 hours of battery life in game mode, 6 hours in video mode, 31 hours of talk time and about 15 days in Standby mode. The smartphone is running a modified version of MIUI based on Android 8.1 Oreo with a shell Poco launcher.
On the back of the Poco F1, you can find a dual camera based on the 12-megapixel sensor Sony IMX363 and 5-megapixel auxiliary camera with dual LED flash and Dual Pixel Autofocus mode. The smartphone received support for VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, as well as USB-C and 3.5 mm audio ports.
The strong point is the price, which is why it has been designed. The three variants will have the following prices:
