Yesterday at a launch event in Spain, Xiaomi launched Mi A2 and Mi A2 lite. It also revealed the Global availability of both the devices. Today, it announced a launch date for India.

In a tweet by Mi India (@XiaomiIndia) the official account of the Xiaomi India, it has been revealed that the Xiaomi Mi A2 will be coming to India on 8th August.
Unfortunately, the cheaper version Mi A2 Lite is not coming to India.
The Mi A2 is the successor to the Mi A1. Last year the Mi A1 was first launched in India before debuting to global markets.

The Mi A2 will come with a 5.9-inch FHD+ screen, a Snapdragon 660 AIE processor, and up to 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage.
It will have a 20MP front camera with AI features and a 12MP + 20MP dual rear camera. Battery capacity is 3000mAh with Quick Charge 3.0. It will also have a USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, a rear fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The pricing for the Mi A2 will be similar to that of Chinese version Mi 6X.
The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option is priced at CNY 1,599 (roughly ₹. 16,900), while the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage option costs CNY 1,799 (approximately ₹. 19,000). As for the top end Mi 6X variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, the price tag is CNY 1,999 (around ₹. 21,000).
